Caught Red Handed High Seas Edition

Who is this side slipping "helmsman"?

One of his sponsors identifies him simply as Mikey.

Here is the same Mikey on High Seas Films' website.

Ah, High Seas Films has an anchor motif and they give Mikey's last name, DeTemple.

His High Seas Films outfit made a surf movie named
Sight Sound with the help of Tommy Hilfigger.
Tommy Hilfigger's sponsorship of the film afforded him the opportunity to hob nob with the upper echelon of New York's socialites.

The movie had a segment that was filmed in Baja California South.

En route to film the movie they had to pass the same Valle de los Cirios as did Tyler Warren.
Helpless rocks are always getting bombed out in this region.
The Mexican government is fighting to stem the tide of the desecration of this protected biosphere with education and signs to ward off would be vandals.

The signs could not dissuade someone from marking the rocks with this young surfer's production company's name and signature anchor.

Schwag for sale with the same anchor theme on High Seas Films' homepage.

Mikey DeTemple is considered an ambassador like his friend and travel companion Tyler Warren.

Mikey's ambassadorship is for a company touting it's ecologically responsible mission statement.

How does this strange public relations campaign defacing nature in the middle of Mexico's Valle de los Cirios coincide with Ocean Minded's ecological philosophy?

They are most likely very interested in how these facts have persuaded your sentiments about their ambassador and his representation of their products.  You can use the contact information below to inform them of your opinion.

Hurley might also be interested in the impact on your perception of them in light of this misled label placement.
Contact them to inform them using the information below, should you feel so inclined.
